After weeks of preparation it was time to join the major assemblies.
First a made a wooden structure on top of an old Ikea table:
And fitted all assemblies together:
With everything in place I could rivet the floor skin to the stringers. The stainless steel rivets of SB0014 should fit without any reaming. Since the rivets give a better fit than cleco’s I aligned these holes by inserting the stainless steel rivets and to prevent them from falling out I added some masking tape:
Next was riveting, the holes through the main spar need longer rivets:
As well as the holes from the aileron control stops:
