Spent some time fire testing the different option regarding fire protection, thermal insulation and soundproofing.
I did a simple fire test on the materials that were shipped with the kit, but also the material that Aircraft Spruce sells and another material call Teknofibra which is used in the racing industry and also sold by Rotax.

The result is clear, for the firewall I will use Teknofibra:
