The left wing tip didn’t fit perfect so some adjustments were needed.
3 adjustments are needed for a perfect fit:
– modify the trailing edge to have nice fit in skin 8
– modify the fiber glass stiffener to correct the height of the tip near the main spar
– modify the flange so that the tip is level with the main spar
Next I removed the trailing edge:

Put the tip in the wooden mold and created a new trailing edge with glass fiber and epoxy resin:

A small insert helps to shape the trailing edge:

Mixed some resin with glass bubbles:

Next I removed some material of the flanges so that the tip is level with the main spar.
With a strap I made sure the tip is at the correct location:

And trailing edge is about right:

Next I need to remove the stiffener and reinforce the tip for the rivet holes.
