In other blogs I’ve seen that the wing tips need some modification to fit nicely, so I was curious how mine would fit.
Fist thing I discovered was that the tips are too narrow near the main spar. I made a wooded spacer, just temporary:
I’ve seen other builders making sure the tip is level with the main spar, which is also in the TSI manual. The manual just says to push the tip against the flanges of rib 11.
Mine is not level when pushing against the flange:
I cut off a piece of the trailing edge to get the tip squeezed in.
A question is out to the TAF to ask for advice regarding the alignment.
