Fixating inside leading edge ribs

The inboard leading edge ribs needed fixation before attaching the fuel tank.

The inboard leading edge ribs will be riveted together with the fuel tanks. They are nicely aligned with cleco’s now, but there is quite some pressure on them to be aligned with the skin. Without fixating them it will be difficult to get all holes aligned with the fuel tank will be attachted.

I decided to fixate the ribs with solid rivets. I first checked the minimum rivet pitch with is 4 x D, so it’s no problem adding solid rivets here.

I drilled #40 holes and dimpled the 2 layers in one shot:

The top side of the rib of the left wing is not high enough and will need a tapered spacer, todo very soon:
