After all issues were sorted out it was time to rivet the skins of the left wing and start working on the leading edge skin.
Final result after riveting:
I put the leading edge skins outside in the sun so the white paint can dry faster. I was curious about the temperature of the skin and measured it with my IR temperature meter; it’s around 50 degrees Celcius:
Next I created 2 wooded stands and attached them to the jigs so I can rotate the wing and attached the leading edge skin on the bottom side:
One hole was missing, with the strap duplicator is was easy to fix:
Not all holes of the leading edge skin line up nicely, that needs some more attention next session.
