The wing step skins needed a slight modification before they could be primed.
The step ribs are bent at 19 degrees:

With a wooden bending brake it was easy to tighten the bend:

The skin between the rivets has a bit of bulging, just like other builders did, I added three 3.2 mm holes for extra rivets:
