Prepare, ProSeal and rivet left fuel tank.
The ProSeal fillet around the stringer was too wide and had to removed at the places where the ribs go:
Next I prepared the places where the ProSeal goes with sandpaper, SkotchBrite and cleaned everything, including the rivets with Acetone:
First layer of ProSeal, a thin bead on the skin and a thin bead goes on the ribs:
Like a taco flipped to the other side before going into the jig:
Alternating cleco’s and rivets too ensure the rivets fit:
Rivets in and cleaned with acetone:
Note that ribs 2, 3 and 4 have sealed rivets and the outside ribs the standard multigrip rivets!
In total this was one 6 oz ProSeal cartridge and many latex gloves to spread the ProSeal.
