Fuel caps

Preparation and mounting the fuel caps.

The manual says to chamfer the inside ring for the fuel cap, but the caps are already quite flush but with some ProSeal they will be a bit too high, therefore I used the Dremel to create the chamfer:

With some tape the skins are protected against the ProSeal mess:

While I’m opening a Semco kit I will also seal the tooling holes. Again to prevent the mess I cut a hole in masking tape:

All preparation done and degreased with Acetone:

The 4 mm rivets that TAF ships with the kit are too short, that’s why you have to countersink all rivet holes of the inside rings. I bought some stainless steel sealed rivets 4 x 16 mm and did not countersink the holes.
