First actual work on the wing kit; preparing the ailerons ribs.
The flanges of the ribs are not curved. On the blog of another builder I noticed that the aileron skin has a better fit when the flanges are curved just like the rib and skin. I’ve created a wooden mold and used a rubber hammer:
The other ribs have a slightly smaller shape, I used my flat nose pliers with heat-shrink protection:
The nutplate will be riveted by 2 countersunk stainless steel rivets of 2.4 mm, they require a 120 degree countersink, which I purchased via Ebay:
